Gail uses a variety of clays to hand build her functional wares and sculptures. The flora and fauna, of her local area, the Sunshine Coast, and travels to other places and countries, influence the decoration and subjects of the pieces she creates. An ex-teacher, she loves to share skills learnt. Although she has been potting, at Wallace House, since 2006, she still feels that she is just at the beginning of a journey exploring clay, glazes and firing techniques. There is always something new to learn!
