Sonia's art brings the lush tropical surrounds of nature into the home with modern colourful botanicals and Australian landscapes. She captures the lush colours and shapes of the surrounding rainforests, and hinterland.

Her current body of work is focused on the varied birdlife bringing together her love of birds and botanicals painted in her naïve detailed style, inviting the viewer in to take a closer look at a typical Australian backyard. Sonia is also working on a contemporary landscape collection honouring the surrounding hinterland. She has incorporated mixed media to portray the local countryside in swathes of colour and pattern
