PAINTER | MIXED MEDIA ARTIST
Rosie's predominantly abstract works are a fusion of calm and pulsating energy, inspired by the land and sea near her home, and the collective madness of humanity. Rosie's drawings aim to capture gesture and movement in people, and the invisible tensions between them. Rosie works in gouache, acrylics and ink.
Rosie experiences life as a kind of frieze of constantly moving energy - the 'busyness' of the modern world, so there's generally a lot of pattern created by repetition of marks and motifs. Rosie's works can be found in corporate settings and in private collections in Australia and New Zealand.
