Bold and saturated colour is central to Jodie‘s art. Flowers have always been her muse. Armidale, the quaint country town where Jodie grew up, is filled with stunning roses due to the cold climate. Here, Jodie began painting flowers in her teens.

The Artist obtained a degree in Visual Arts at QUT and is inspired by intense and vivid colour relationships within Australian flora and fauna.

Jodie’s floral still life and expressionist abstract paintings exude vivifying pops of spectacular colour. Graphic, lively and striking, these paintings make exuberant statement pieces.
