Jens thrilled for her third Noosa Open Studios, the past year enjoying painting subjects from “Horizonless Coastal Series” to a new perspective of now “from above” still incorporating coastal scenes, with her palette knife. Casting the subject now to Noosa’s water ways and the Everglades. Viewers are intrigued by the shapes usually identified from ground to experiencing how a bird sees earth with the terrain flattened. Noosa’s eastern Beaches, shadows and shapes give away the time of day. Viewers can be challenged and often they turn their head to the side to register the subject, and Jen has a giggle!
