I am inspired by the natural world to paint and create, for me realism is the way to go and as I evolve and complete the work, the painting fills me with a need to create again and again. I’m driven to make work that has a little humor which in turn generates a reaction thus making the artwork more memorable. My paintings are a collection of animal portraits a snap shot if you will, a frozen moment. It’s my intention to draw the viewer in and not only delight them but generate awareness of how awesome animals are.
