Dennis has spent over 30 years at the potter’s wheel and testing glazes. Every piece is hand thrown and glazed with his own glazes. All of Dennis’s vessels are bespoke. He uses the clay and his glazes as a vehicle for his ideas, much like a painter uses a canvas.

He creates elegant, unusual forms which complement the type of glaze finishes he is known for. He believes formal elements of design are important for visual and emotional impact.

Dennis is the recipient of numerous awards and has exhibited widely. He has travelled extensively and has been published many times.
