After travelling to Europe and Canada, Dale completed an Art and Design course in Melbourne. She then worked as a secondary school art teacher for over 20 years, working in Vic, WA, NT and Qld schools and colleges. In 2000, on long service leave from the NT, Dale moved to Queensland. She undertook an art marketing course and started to show her work regularly. She joined Noosa Open Studios in 2017, and shared a studio with Fiona Groom from 2018. Dale spent last year as Event coordinator and this year shares the Artist Liaison position on the NOS management committee.
