From her childhood growing up on the Atherton Tablelands FNQ, Anne’s happy place has been outdoors in the natural landscape. Anne seeks to infuse this joy and her emotional connection with nature into her paintings. She loves the challenge of realistic composition, colour and design, in representative still life, landscape, floral, portraiture and abstract. Anne began exploring soft pastels in 1999 as a budding art student and later branched out into oils and watercolour. Her talented skill in the pastel medium was recognised in 2014 by the Australian Pastel Society with the Master Pastellist status award.
