2D3D

Collaboration Fundraiser

Following on our hugely successful Deckchairs on the Green in 2020 and 2021, we have decided to change it up and involve 3D and 2D artists in the form of a collaboration.

This is very exciting, will involve many of our Noosa Open Studio Artists and will be our main fundraiser for 2022. The funds go towards our marketing campaign to bring more visitors to your studios. The project will engage artists from different areas of creative expertise, to discuss and share their creative skills, and will also help lift your profile in the arts community. A win-win for everyone!

The committee is seeking a varied selection of works to showcase the diversity of our region’s artists.

2D and 3D artist should combine their unique talents to produce a significant art item to be sold /auctioned.

This collaboration is to be done between 2D and 3D artists (e.g. potter and painter, sculptor and textile artist)

Each work needs to be able to attract interest in local news and feature at our major fundraising event

Each artist will receive 30% of the auctioned /sold price. 40% will be a donation to Noosa Open Studios

The 2D3D selection process is made up of a two-phase process.

Phase 1: We are taking expression of interests (EOI) via the form below. The EOI form requires the details of both collaborating artists.

Phase 2: If selected, you will be notified by email with more details and directed the artwork submission page.

You will be notified on 27th June of acceptance and further details on phase 2. You will be required to complete your artwork by 19th August 2022

If you need help with finding your art partner, contact Beryl 0458611509 or Dale 0407534083

Submissions will close on 10th June, 2022
